There is an interesting article in the NYT with regards to the sale of luxury goods.  High end retailers like Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Mercedes-Benz and more are seeing a rapid increase in sales.  The article goes on to say, Even with the economy in a funk and many Americans pulling back on spending, the rich are again buying designer clothing, luxury cars and about anything that catches their fancy.

How this spending by the rich will translate to real estate on the Outer Banks is yet, to be seen.  Perhaps, we will see a push towards luxury homes during the Fall buying season.

You don't need a coupon, however, only the seven point one ounce size is free, larger cups will still cost you. You can find a 7-Eleven in Elizabeth City, Grandy, Manteo and on the Outer Banks. Those locations include, Barco, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head.

Its a great day for a Slurpee on the Outer Banks.  Think I may have to stop on my way home.
