Activities on Thanksgiving include cooking on the hearth, candle making, preserving food, corn shucking, and even ox drawn wagon rides.  Take a moment before or after your Thanksgiving meal and get an appreciation for how life was early on in America.  

Island Farm is recreated as a farm from the 1850's.  Take a walk back in history and see how life was for those who lived in Manteo over 150 years ago.
