"....We bought our first home in Corolla, Ocean Sands subdivision several years before we retired and placed it in a weekly rental program to off-set the cost of ownership as many owners opt to do. We always came down to spring clean and prepare our home for the summer rental season. After a long winter we were excited to travel here to ready our home but we always found time for the beach and a visit to our favorite restaurant. We sold our home in Corolla in 2005 and bought another rental home in Duck on the Sound side. I invite everyone to visit Duck as it is a unique and quaint town; there is shopping, nice restaurants and a new park! I love to see the families walking to the shops and restaurants or riding bikes on the bike trails...."
