Snowing in the OBX
The OBX was blanketed with a couple inches of snow this morning until turning to rain around noon. We lost power in Kill Devil Hills for a few hours, thus the grilling in the snow. Took a few other pictures before the snow turned all to rain and slush.

Took advantage of this sunny January day to take a quick hike through Nags Head Woods. Below are a couple pictures from my quick walk.
Though there is some ice it is quickly melting with the temperatures rising into the low 40's. More like an average day in January along the Outer Banks instead of the Arctic chill we have been under for the better part of two weeks.

Though you can't tell. There has been an arctic blast covering the entire Outer Banks. Though there is no snow in Kill Devil Hills, here are some pics on a cold winter afternoon. Hopefully, snow pics will follow in the coming days.
