Sunday, February 14th, 2010 at 8:24am. 130 Views, 0 Comments.

Here are some pictures of the Manteo waterfront, I took before and after the Outer Banks Running Club 2010 Sweetheart 8K.  It was a chilly, windy morning for the 8K but the race had a strong turnout.  For those who enjoy running, the Outer Banks Running Club's next race is the 2nd Annual Kelly's Running of the Leprechauns.

Outer Banks Polar Plunge

Tuesday, March 24th, 2009 at 9:22pm. 99 Views, 0 Comments.

This was a big off season weekend in the Outer Banks. You had the 20th Annual Kellys St. Patrick's Day Parade, the Shamrock 8K, and the Outer Banks Polar Plunge. It would be tough to find a better winter weekend to get outside and enjoy the beauty of the Outer Banks.

The weekend's weather was rainy but that definitely did not deter the enthusiasm on those out enjoying the activities.
