Are you looking for the fastest way to get to and from the Outer Banks? Look no further than, Outer Banks Air Charters. If you are like me and hate the hassle of endless checkpoints and aimlessly waiting in lines just to get on a commercial plane, consider the hassle-free opportunities offered by this local air charter service.
I think owner Charlie Snow's blog sums up the, best reasons to use Outer Banks Air Charters vs. flying into a nearby commercial airport. A few of my favorites include no shoe removal, no layovers, no full body scans, no hassles, and they have never lost a piece of luggage.
If he did not offer enough reasons, Outer Banks Air Charters has a Facebook page that you can become a fan of and learn more about the Free Seats and Fare…

Outer Banks Business Spotlight: Tortugas Lie

Eating at Tortugas Lie is like taking a trip to the islands without having to leave Nags Head. This Caribbean style restaurant offers authentic island favorites like, jerk beef and chicken, conch fritters, Tortola Chicken, and more. It also serves delicious local Outer Banks seafood like Tuna, clams, and shrimp.
Besides a delicious menu, the interior of Tortugas Lie is quite interesting with coral and fish tanks, hundreds of licenses plates covering the ceiling and walls, and a decidely Island feel. Whether for food or drinks, Tortugas Lie, is an excellent stop during a vacation or more regularly if you are fortunate enough to live here.
One small additional item that puts Tortugas atop my dining favorites, is that they have their daily specials…
Opportunity for Outer Banks Amusement Park

One thing you will not currently find from Corolla to Nags Head is an amusement park. It is amazing that such a long big area is devoid of an amusement park. There is one location in Nags Head, that currently has some remnants of rides, but nothing that is operational.
I saw this article about a company in New Jersey, that just opened an amusement park in a small oceanside town in 2009. Gillians Funland of Sea Isle City reported profits of close to $400,000 for thir first year in Sea Isle City. In an area that has a summer rental season from Memorial to Labor Day, a company was able to turn a strong profit. I would think that with a season as long as the Outer Banks, the possibility of opening an amusement park in the Outer Banks would have to be…
